At just 21 years of age, TyDi was voted #1 DJ in Australia, and spent 2008 touring in support of dance heavyweights Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk. He was a regular on the prominent Australian festival circuit and co-headlined Melbourne’s Sensation NYE party with Fedde le Grand.
As a producer, his tracks have been signed to labels across the globe, including world #1 DJ Armin van Buuren’s own label, Armada. He produced the soundtrack for hard-hitting government advertising, video games and luxury property developments.
In 2009, tyDi continues to be one of the most successful and in-demand performers in Australia. On the back of a stellar performance at Melbourne’s Sensation NYE party, the young maverick secured Main Stage billing at Trance Energy in Holland and across Australia.
In April, he released his debut artist album 'Look Closer' which made an impressive debut on the Australian Independent Recording Charts, ARIA Dance Charts and on the international Beatport charts. The first single ‘Foolish’ also found a home in the top ten of the international Beatport charts. With such a solid start to a promising career, Australia's #1 DJ is a man on the rise.
